Every Saturday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m to noon, shop for your favorite produce, meats, bread, and handmade arts and crafts at the Cowtown Farmers Market. As a member of the North Texas Farmers Market Association, the organizers of Cowtown pride themselves in having vendors that are within a 150-mile radius of Forth Worth, making them a producer-only market.

Fill your bags with rich-tasting tomatoes, juicy peaches, lip-smacking berries, and sweet corn. You can also find bread, honey, gorgeous flowers, greens for sauteing, salad fixings, and vegetables that are perfect for grilling with a juicy steak. Find the Cowtown Farmers Market at 3821 Southwest Blvd.

The Clearfork Farmers Market

Wake up on Saturday morning and head over to 4801 Edwards Ranch Rd. between 8:00 a.m and noon in the summer or 9:00 a.m to noon in the winter to visit the Clearfork Farmers Market. Since 2016, the outdoor market has operated year-round with over 25 local farmers, ranchers, and artisans selling their wares.

Fill your tote bag with your favorite vegetables, colorful flowers, pastries, bread, and honey. Be sure to stop by the tamale stand for traditional, handmade tamales with south of the border flavors. Be sure to hit the market early, because items sell out quickly at this popular location. You can find the Clearfork Farmers Market on the riverfront of the Trinity Trails, and you’ll have plenty of parking.

Ridgmar Farmers Market

Across from the Ridgmar Mall is the year-round inside Ridgmar Farmers Market. Not only will you find farmers market favorites like fresh produce and flowers, but you can also stock up on homemade jams and jellies, local honey, bedding plants, vegetable starts, and homegrown peanuts. During the winter, locals flock to Ridgmar Farmers Market to buy seasoned firewood, and during the holidays, you can get a freshly-cut and fragrant Christmas tree. While you’re shopping for your tree, you can also find lovely gifts for everyone on your shopping list from the vendors selling handcrafted items.

When you’re ready for lunch or dinner, stop by the Cowtown Bar-B-Que located behind the farmers market. Get barbecued meats, ribs, chicken, and sandwiches with sides like french fries, onion rings, and cowboy-style beans. On select days, indulge in their fresh all-you-can-eat catfish fry. The Ridgmar Farmers Market is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Find them at 900 Alta Mere Dr.

Burleson Farmers Market

Open from the end of March to mid-November is the Burleson Farmers Market located in Old Town Burleson at 207 W. Renfro St. The goal of the Burleson Farmers Market is to bring residents and visitors to the Fort Worth area the freshest, highest-quality produce, meats, eggs, and bread possible. Between 8:00 a.m. and noon on Saturday’s, do your shopping at a market that strives to be your go-to place for your refrigerator and pantry.

All vendors who sell organic products must verify their organic certification, ao you know you are getting real organic products. The Burleson Farmers Market is popular and items sell quickly, so get there early.

Bedford Farmers Market

The indoor Bedford Farmers Market is quaint and charming, with friendly staff and vendors that will make you want to return over and over again. You’ll find scrumptious fresh, locally-grown, seasonal produce along with homemade jams and jellies. Stock up on handmade trail mix, fresh nuts, olives, and pickles to satisfy your snacking cravings. Enjoy local milk, eggs, cheeses, and some of the best tamales in Texas.

Pick up the fresh tortillas with homemade zesty salsa to enjoy after shopping. The Bedford Farmers Market is located at 2824 Brown Trl. They’re open from 8:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m Monday through Saturday and 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Farmers Market Grapevine

Head over to 520 S. Main St. #203 in Grapevine to shop at the farmers market there. Open year-round from 8:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays, you can stock up on grass-fed beef, sweet fruits, okra, greens, and all of your local, seasonal produce and flowers. The vendors offer unusual items like homemade kettle corn, organic baked pastries, grass-fed lamb, and free-range chickens and eggs. Add freshly-made mozzarella cheese, high-quality milk, and mouth-watering chocolates to your basket to round out your refrigerator and pantry.

Farmers Market Grapevine is a fabulous place to shop for gifts. You can find locally produced olive oil, honey made from wildflowers, and beeswax candles. For your sweet tooth, stock up on gourmet chocolates and handmade artisan confections. Bring a pile of tamales home so you can have a tasty Mexican dinner after a day of shopping.

Watauga Market

The cute Watauga Market is only open on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. so be sure to schedule a stop there to stock up on farmers market goodies. As part of the Four Seasons Market Group, the Watauga market features vendors that offer high quality, fresh, local ingredients. Find grass-fed meats, Texas olive oil, handmade bread and pastries, and loads of fresh vegetables and fruits to choose from.
