What Is the Hyundai N Line?

The Hyundai N Line is a series of high-performance sedans and SUVs that blend Hyundai’s reliable design with sports-inspired engineering and one-of-a-kind styling. These vehicles are free-wheeling and athletic editions of some of Hyundai’s most popular models. An N Line vehicle is a great pick for thrill-seeking drivers who find themselves drawn to the performance and styling of a sports car but don’t want to give up the practicality and family-friend nature that other Hyundai vehicles provide. The N Line collection gets its name from Namyang, South Korea, the city that houses Hyundai’s research and development center.

At this center, Hyundai’s experts borrowed insights from sports racing to build today’s N Line vehicles. While we may know Hyundai for its dependable everyday consumer vehicles, another branch of the automaker, Hyundai Motorsports, focuses solely on developing safe and speedy sports racing vehicles. Hyundai Motorsports’ innovations for motorsports events like the World Rally Championship (WRC), the top global racing competition from the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (International Automobile Federation or FIA), the organization behind Formula One racing, inspired the N Line’s engineering.
