Based in Southfield, Michigan, Wards Auto takes a comprehensive look at all aspects of the industry, from the plant floor to the showroom. This year, the judges evaluated 21 nominated vehicles based on features such as interior aesthetics and design, material quality, fit and finish, connectivity infotainment options, comfort and usability of controls and features, instrument-panel design, information delivery and ease of operation, availability and performance of driver-assistance features, as well as their overall value. This year, six of the 10 winners were electric vehicles, one was a hybrid, and just three, including the PALISADE, were traditional combustion engines.
