KidMania

KidMania is a place for kids to blow off their energy on a rainy day with an arcade, a five-level playground, a ManiaMaze with sections that include Cave Climbs, the Magic Carpet, the Challenge Path, and more. The playground is 25-feet high, 280-feet long, and over 143,000 cubic feet of jungle gym and playground activities for kids. The maze is suited for kids 3 years of age and up, and adults of all ages are encouraged to climb onto the maze. 

Toddlers get their own play area called the MiniMania, which is designed to provide a safe but exciting area for the smaller crowd to run around and go nuts. There’s also a mirror maze, a LaserRace where participants try to cross a field of laser beams without breaking the light, and the opportunity to create a keepsake wax cast of your hand. 

SeaQuest Fort Worth

SeaQuest Fort Worth offers the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of creatures that have fins, feathers, fur, and scales. Interact with Asian otters, put your feet in a fish tank and let the fish nibble away your dead skin in an experience called Fishy Kisses, snorkel with stingrays, and pet a sloth. The residents of the aquarium live in habitats that mimic their natural environment. SeaQuest Fort Worth offers guests a variety of animal interactions, including the opportunity to hold and feed some of the residents.

SeaQuest Fort Worth is home to over 1,200 animals from 300 different species, and all are carefully monitored by trained staff. Visitors need to be aware of the potential for getting wet and encountering bird poop in the aviaries. Staff keep an eye on guests and animals during petting experiences in order to ensure that everyone enjoys themselves and has a good time. 

Fort Worth Museum of Science and Industry

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and Industry is packed full of fascinating and interactive exhibits that are guaranteed to keep everyone occupied on a rainy day. The permanent exhibits include a Dinosaur Exhibit, a Children’s Museum, Innovation Studios where visitors can create and invent, the Noble Space Gallery, Energy Blast that explores the role of energy resources in North Texas, and the Heritage Gallery that explores cultural identities and what makes people unique. 

The permanent attractions, along with the traveling exhibitions, are sure to keep everyone entertained on a rainy day. There’s something for everyone of all ages, and when someone gets tired, the Noble Planetarium offers the opportunity to sit down, relax, and take a break for a little while being entertained. 

Cowtown Bowling Palace

Cowtown Bowling Palace is a family-friendly bowling alley that makes the act of rolling a bowl at 10 wooden pins something fun and memorable. Bowlers of all ages and experience levels are welcome to try their hand at a round of frames to see who can get the highest scores. Bumper bowling lanes are available for the younger set and feature bumpers in the gutters to keep the ball on the lane. Little ones get the joy of seeing their efforts pay off as their bowling ball reaches the pins for a strike. 

The COOL Cosmic bowling time features bowling with the lights turned down, special effects lighting turned on, and great music jamming throughout the alley for a nightclub effect.
